Mistequa Casino Hotel hosted a celebration luncheon with special guests from our area emergency service departments. This annual luncheon spotlights the local emergency services that collaborate and support Mistequa Casino Hotel and the Spokane Tribe. Through funds generated by Mistequa Casino gaming revenue, a percentage is dedicated to what is known as the Impact Mitigation Fund (IMF). A Committee is in place to receive and review grant requests from local emergency services. During this distribution cycle, $81,569 of funding was awarded to six organizations. The 2025 IMF grant cycle recipients included the Chewelah Fire Department, Chewelah Police Department, Chewelah Rural Ambulance, Stevens County Fire District #4, Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, and Washington State Patrol.Congratulations to each recipient and thank you for your service.
